The primary purpose of the Residency Determination Office is: To evaluate Residence and Tuition Status Applications, to assign the appropriate residency classification consistent with the requirements of the state law and provisions of the North Carolina State Residence Classification Manual, and to provide information about residency to students, staff and the University community.
The due date for receipt of the NC Residence and Tuition Status Application in the Residency Determination Office along with all required documentation is on the 5th day of classes by 5:00 PM.
